Very few people in the enterprise are actually building on multi agentic systems, true multi agentic systems.

I think we're seeing that trend happen already with people talking about evaluation driven development and this conversation starting there.

And so I was pretty stunned that after six months of this book being out, I was the first person to stumble over that.

In fact, I would say it's not the right answer for most people, just like being a pro basketball player.

That's also really high accuracy, uh, for AI agents to access like any pool of documents.

When she's not advocating for developers, Roselle is an advisor at gCodeHouse, an organization aimed at teaching women of color and non binary people of color to code.

So yeah, most, most companies give you a 90 day grace period.

I don't think I don't think predicting tokens one after the other is going to get us there.

And I know Block has some big announcements around AI coming up, so let's dive into your work there.

What made you fall in love with this technology that has been such a through line in your career?

That's a very high bar to clear and requires lots of education to people.

Great episode on that that we put out earlier this year for anyone who wants to check it out.

But as the data volume continues to explode, the ETL tech debt starts to really accumulate.

I'd like to see, for example, a new model architecture be invented on AMD.

Is there a particular open source project that you're most proud of?

For example, if you want to add, say, memory, short term memory and long term memory modules to an agent, you don't have to sit and code your way through the whole thing.

So extra piece of advice here, work for great leaders who understand their people.

You're creating autonomous nodes within your organization that will act as second, third, fourth brains for you around specific topics.

Can you tell us a bit about what Walrus console is before I spoil the surprise.

So a lot of this analysis was very much required for us to continue to improve the product experience.

Digital surfaces like the web are going to be shared roadways for a long time to come.

It sounds like Twilio is really empowering its customers to build their own agents with this framework you're establishing.

I think that's the fear for a lot of people thinking about doing a health care startup.

So that really opens up the avenue for you to build systems that can think and rethink.

And then I also have a chief of staff and an assistant that use it really aggressively to build content for me.

You know, we focus on the information retrieval pipeline, creating a semantic index of that data.

Uh, folks who are making these crucial decisions are working with not just data engineers, but developers across the organization.

What key themes are you paying attention to thus far in 2025, and what are you seeing for the next few months?

And you're using this approach of reinforcement learning via code execution feedback to do it.

Everything else, we leave that to the Frontier Labs to solve and for the open source models to solve, potentially.

But the important thing is there's a big difference between building a prototype, a minimum viable product and a minimum shippable product.

Can you tell me a bit more about how you're designing this overall architecture for the system?

And back in those early days, yeah, context engineering was a huge part of what you did.

I think there's plenty of examples of this that are starting to come to fruition.

But we could answer about 25% of those questions in one shot on the prior version of CoCounsel.

And when I say outside of the model capabilities, I don't mean necessarily outside of software.

But it's it's so important to not solely rely on these, like, automated nondeterministic judges, even as they judge other nondeterministic systems.

What is top of mind for you when it comes to making sure they succeed?

Our employees are putting their heart and soul into it right now, and you can feel it in every step of the way.

To be clear, we're not discouraging folks who are listening to build AI agents.

They always prefer the hyperscalers because of the built in compliance and security measures that are in place.

If that's in pharma, that's in, like, physical rehab, if it's in, psychology, psychiatry, primary care, outpatient care, you name it, home care.

this shift in workflows where software engineers need to adopt data science principles in order to build better applications.

But I imagine there's also a risk of these positive feedback loops going wrong, where they can spiral in the wrong direction.

So this includes the UI, it includes the business logic, it includes the database, everything is ready and it's ready to publish.

We're all making decisions based on the data that I have access to.

I think that's a great note to end on.

So that kind of stuff, a lot of work needs to be done there and it's happening.

And it's been interesting to see how your perspective has really informed Cisco's decision making around product development.
